Peers are the listed companies in the exchange's own industry group: Pharmaceuticals. Balance-sheet figures are from the latest filed balance sheet; trends show each financial year we hold.
Latest quarterIn the quarter to June 2026 (results filed 14 Aug 2026), sales fell 44.7% from a year earlier to Rs 735 cr and profit fell 57.0% to Rs 206 cr.
- Return on equity stayed above 15% from FY24 to FY26 (lowest 15.4%).
Each line is written by a fixed rule from the company's own filings and share price, and names the figures it uses. It describes what happened; it is not advice about the share.
Over the last 20 results, the share rose on 7 and fell on 13, and moved by 3% or more on 10.
Q1 FY27: results filed 14 Aug 2026. The share went from its close on 13 Aug 2026 to its close on 17 Aug 2026 -6.50%.
Known for an aggressive first-to-file strategy in the US: racing to be the first generic challenger on complex, high-value patented drugs, then fighting patent litigation to win 180 days of exclusive marketing rights before other generics arrive, which has produced outsized but lumpy profits compared to typical steady-margin Indian generic makers.
Pharma - Generics & Specialty Litigation
Complex generic drug formulations, notably in oncology and other hard-to-copy therapies, active pharmaceutical ingredients, and branded generic formulations sold domestically in India.
US generic drug distributors and pharmacy chains buying its litigated first-to-file generics through Natco Pharma USA and marketing partners, plus doctors and pharmacies in India for its domestic branded generics business.
Targets complex, high-value patented drugs, files to be the first generic challenger, and either wins patent litigation outright or settles favorably, earning 180 days of exclusive marketing rights and outsized margins on the winning launches. This makes profits lumpier than typical Indian generic makers, since results depend heavily on which litigated drugs it wins.
Of every Rs 100 of sales in FY26, Rs 65 went on running costs, Rs 5.1 on depreciation, Rs 0.9 on interest and Rs 2.9 on tax; Rs 35 was left as profit.
Thin bar: money in (sales plus other income). Thick bar: where it went. Each year is scaled to its own sales, so the bars compare shares, not size.
Per year, compounded, between financial years FY26 and the year named; only spans our filings cover. The faint bar is the latest quarter against the same quarter a year earlier. Earnings per share is not shown: filed figures are not adjusted for bonus issues and splits, so its growth would mislead.

Each row is coloured against this company's own usual level, not against other companies: green is better than its middle year, red worse, plain is close to it. ROE, ROCE and debt rows start once the filings carry a full balance sheet (FY22 at the earliest).
At FY26 it owned Rs 11,074 Cr of assets. Its owners funded 83% of that and borrowings 6%.
From the March balance sheet in the company's annual filing (2026-03-31). Each bar is the full balance sheet; "everything else" is what the filed total leaves after the named lines.
In FY26 the business itself brought in Rs 1,768 Cr, spent Rs 388 Cr on plant and equipment, and cash rose by Rs 79 Cr over the year.
Rs 100 or more means every rupee of reported profit arrived as cash.

Median rather than average, so one loss-making or one very expensive peer cannot drag the reference. Valuation is shown without a colour verdict: a higher multiple can mean expensive, or faster growth expected, and only you can decide which.
